Shelter Afrique: 36th AGM Identity

The brief we received from the client detailed a need to create an identity that reflected ‘newness’ and/or ‘rebirth’; with some relevance afforded to the conference venue – Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe. The logo would then be rolled out across the various communication platforms to be used during the lead-up to the conference and during the actual conference.

With a major emphasis on minimalism, we worked on creating an identity that relied on line-work and nothing else. We felt this would help in modelling visual guidelines that relied more on the logo than on supportive narratives in communicating the overall idea.

As for the direction on colour scheme, this was quite obvious from the start – with green being the most appropriate alternative to bring out an aura that spoke of change.
